Report on the 6th Annual Community Wellness Fair

Our original date for the wellness fair, October 1st was rained out. But October 8th, turned out to be a picture perfect day!  This year's wellness activity was supported by the Far Southeast Family Strengthening Collaborative, Inc. (FSFSC) and funded in part by the District Of Columbia, Department of Health, Community Health Administration. We are thankful for FSFSC's support and the Ward 8 and 6 Tobacco Free Network.

We are thankful for the performance provided by the original Beat Ya Feet Crew. The Ophelia Egypt Planned Parenthood and Wards 7 & 8 DC Prevention Center provided Youth Health Messengers. 

The community had a great time roller skating and enjoying a great day in the District's best kept secret, the Anacostia Park Roller Skating Pavilion, National Park Service.
